Project Management

Blackout’s experienced project management team are always on hand to provide knowledgeable support for your project from initial enquiry through to completion. Working across a wide spectrum of live events in industry sectors from TV, film and theatre, to corporate and fundraising, they can advise on ways to achieve your creative brief and solve your technical problems. Our team are acquainted with many of the London and UK venues and frequently work across Europe and beyond.

Whether it’s a small or large scale undertaking a dedicated project manager will discuss your initial ideas and carefully consider all aspects of the brief.

Site visits and production meetings are attended to clarify your requirements, followed by careful analysis of plans and dimensions in order to suggest rigging and draping solutions, with the provision of detailed quotes as the project evolves. All our team are proficient in AutoCAD and can provide drawings every step of the way.

With access to Blackout’s extensive range of rental stock, the team can solve most rigging and draping challenges encountered. Some of the products available include black wool serge, velour and voile drapes, starcloth, Prolyte H30v and H40v Truss, Kinesys hoists and beam trolleys, Triple E tracking systems, solenoid kabuki units, roller screens and the ever-popular pipe and drape.

Working alongside our project managers, our warehouse and logistics department will ensure all equipment is prepped, presented and delivered as per your schedule.  Once onsite, our installation team, including Level 2 and Level 3 NRC qualified riggers are hand selected to provide the level of service you require for your project.  This team includes trained and experienced Kinesys operators, who also have an extensive understanding of the vast array of our other automation products such as roller screens, kabukis and auto reveals.

As well as working to tight time scales on the day of installation, the team will return to ensure the equipment is removed swiftly and effectively once the event is over.
