Product FAQs

Do you have a price list?

As our range of products and services are extensive, we do not have a published price list, however we are happy to tailor a quote based on your requirements. You can contact our office by email on sales@blackout.co.uk or by phone on 0208 687 8400.

Do you sell blackout curtains for residential purposes?

We are primarily an event industry supplier and we usually don’t cater to the domestic market. However, if you are opting for a theatrical finish then feel free to contact us, but we suggest e.g. John Lewis as a more suitable option.

Do you stock Starcloths with white fabric?

No, our hire-stock starcloths are all made using a black Trevira molton cloth as the front. However, we can create bespoke starcloths on request. Give us a call on 020 8687 8400 or email us for more information. Another solution, if you want a white look is to hang some of our stock white voile in front of the starcloth. Not only does it add a light elegant feel, but it helps diffuse the light from the LEDs to create a fabulous backdrop.

What is the longest drop of your black wool serge drapes?

Our hire stock drapes come in various drops, up to 18m. However, we can create a longer drop by double hanging our drapes with a Velcro join (a solution we often use at the O2, which requires as 24m drop). If you require something different our talented sewing team can create drapes to your requirements.

How should I supply measurements for drape hire or manufacture?

We always give width measurement first following with height – width x height
