Steve Tuck

Steve founded Blackout in 1990 after 16 years of 'rock and roll' touring combined, since 1983, with corporate event rigging. Steve has successfully steered Blackout on a course of excellence through economic peaks and troughs, establishing the company as the leading event drapes and rigging provider. Steve is immensely proud of the achievements of a remarkable Blackout team, who share a vision of the companies continued development.

Chris Brain

Chris joined Blackout in 1994. With a background in catering he brought commercial and management skills to the installation team, joining the Blackout board in 2000. Chris manages a varied range of both interesting and challenging projects with his customary practical and imaginative flair.

Kevin Monks

In 1997 Kevin began in office administration at Blackout, soon progressing to the installation department and project management. Kevin became a director in 2004 in recognition of his input and commitment to all elements of the company. He continues to manage projects while driving our brand communication and representing Blackout on the National Rigging Advisory Group (NRAG). Kevin brings humour and creativity to his role and peace-of-mind to many a production manager and designer.

Tom Lambert

Tom manages a variety of projects, from permanent installations to annual events such as the Henley Festival. Renowned for his solid reliability within the company throughout his tenure, Tom also has a passion for fishing.

Tim Searle

After almost 10 years as a Project Manager at Blackout, Tim's experience comprises looking after key accounts, co-ordinating rigging and draping projects from initial enquiry to fruition. Having spent his earlier career with the Royal Engineers, Tim ably rises to the challenge of any situation.

William Bryant

Will was promoted to Project Manager, having been a key contributor within the Hire and Sales team since 2008. His background has offered him the ability to oversee the smooth running of events.

Josh Coller

Having worked at Blackout during holidays from University, Josh served an apprenticeship within the drapes department of the Warehouse. Within 6 months of graduating, his can-do attitude and logical approach ensured he was first in line for promotion to the role of Installations Technician. Learning on the job as well as attending various training courses, including kinesys, allows Josh to constantly develop. His efforts have been rewarded in 2014 as he won Blackout's Employee of the Year Award.
