Celebrating creativity within the world of fashion GFW provides an unrivalled platform to showcase the industry’s future stars. Over 40 universities exhibit at the show every year and with the work of 1,000+ students on display the show attracts around 30,000 guests.
We were called in to ensure the venue looked as good as the clothes on show, installing two catwalk structures and hanging drapes for the surrounding areas in Theatre East and Theatre West. The Truman Brewery’s ceilings were covered with fabric to ensure the lighting was right for the show. We also created a backstage area with our Easibuild Pipe and Drape system, by breaking up the large room into smaller dressing areas for the models.
At the entrance to the brewery, we built a bespoke ground support structure clad in branded banners.
